Daniel is member of the field team who spends his summers repairing, maintaining, and upgrading sensor stations throughout the state. He also helps configure the diverse telecommunication system which relays data from field stations to the Earthquake Center. Prior, he served as a non-commissioned officer in the Army and earned his degree in computer engineering. Outside of work he enjoys backpacking, climbing, slacklining, skiing, snowmachining, and most other outdoor activities. Family, an optimistic outlook, and the ability to help others are his greatest motivators.
