He has a B.S. in Geology from Stockton University. His primary duties are locating earthquakes in Alaska and determining their magnitudes by identifying P and S wave arrivals and contributing to weekly seismicity reports for use by the general public, researchers, and state and federal agencies. Outside of work he performs community service as a member of the Fairbanks Kiwanis Club. He enjoys going for long drives and gardening with his wife Ozzie and playing tabletop role playing games and video games.
