2007 M6.3 Alaska Peninsula Earthquake

A strong earthquake M6.3 occurred on Tuesday, October 2, 2007 at 10:00 AM local time (18:00 UTC) in the Alaska Peninsula region.

This earthquake is the largest to occur in the region since the M6.2 event on November 20, 2005.

The mainshock and the largest aftershock were felt in the Alaska Peninsula communities.
