We recorded a total of 6,676 earthquakes in this swarm with magnitudes ranging between 0.4 and 5.5 during 2019. There were 29 events with magnitudes greater than 4.

These plots show the cumulative count of earthquakes in the Purcell Mountain swarm with time (left) and their magnitudes with time (right). The lack of a larger mainshock and the distinct aftershock decay pattern seen in mainshock-aftershock sequences is one thing that denotes this as a swarm. The magnitudes and rates are highly variable with time.
