ER04 was installed by Earthquake Center and University of Alaska Anchorage College of Engineering staff in 2021. This site is generously hosted by our partners at Fire Lake Elementary School. It is part of our effort to provide rapid measurements of strong shaking in the Eagle River area in response to the unexpectedly intense shaking there during the 2018 M7.1 Anchorage Earthquake. This site includes an Etna2 sensor on school internet. The sensor is owned by the University of Alaska Anchorage.
