FALS overlooks the Unimak Island town of False Pass and transmits data via the village’s school internet. False Pass has around 15 houses and a population of about 35. This site is operated under dedicated support from our partners at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. FALS is generously hosted by the City of False Pass.
