PS07 is located at Pump Station #7 of the Trans-Alaska Pipeline System. This site lies about an hour north of Fairbanks along the Elliot Highway, past Wickersham Dome. The pump station is surrounded by boreal forest. PS07 is part of a long-standing monitoring system for the pipeline. The Earthquake Center operates this system in conjunction with the Alyeska Pipeline Service Company.
