This site is located at the University of Alaska Fairbanks HAARP facility. It was installed in 2002 to monitor aftershock activity of the M7.9 Denali Fault Earthquake. It was upgraded to a 20-foot-deep borehole in 2004. In 2015 the instrument was replaced through the USArray project.
