K24K is located at Donnelly Dome, about 20 miles south of Delta Junction, in the foothills of the Alaska Range. It sits in a clearing within dense brush. K24K was acquired in 2019 under dedicated support from our partners at the U.S. Geological Survey to strengthen earthquake monitoring across southern Alaska. The site was originally installed as part of the USArray project. K24K is generously hosted by our partners at the Bureau of Land Management.
