Shah brings extensive experience with geodetic and geophysical instruments, working in both field and laboratory settings. His primary role at the Earthquake Center involves installing, repairing, maintaining, and monitoring the Alaska Geophysical Network seismic sites statewide, collaborating closely with his teammates in both field and lab environments. During the winter months, when he’s not in the field, Shah serves as an on-duty seismologist. Outside of work, Shah enjoys quality time with his family, cooking up new dishes, and embarking on long road trips. He’s also passionate about hiking, trekking, and exploring new adventures.
