Nate is a seismic network technician who configures and maintains the field telecommunication networks used to transmit the seismic data from the field sites to the Earthquake Center.  Nate spends time in the field configuring, deploying, and repairing network equipment and time in the office developing tools to monitor and troubleshoot the variety of network complications that can arise at the remote field sites.
