Cade Quigley
PhD Earth Systems Science Student

Cade is a Ph.D. student working with Mike West on the applications of small seismic arrays for earthquake early warning. He aims to provide improvements in the rapid characterization of out-of-network earthquakes—whether originating offshore or across a geopolitical boundary—with the goal of assisting in Alaska’s development of an earthquake early warning system. Previously, Cade was also involved with characterizing the impacts of wind on seismic data in Alaska as an intern at the Earthquake Center. While not working, Cade enjoys exploring the great outdoors through numerous activities (the more remote, the better!).
