In 2015 the vault was replaced with a USArray-style borehole and new sensor. In 2021 we added a GNSS receiver to the site. KNK communicates with our lab using a radio shot to the National Tsunami Warning Center in Palmer. This site is generously hosted by our partners at the Alaska Department of Natural Resources.
