NIKI is a strong-motion site located near the community of Nikiski on the western side of the Kenai Peninsula. This site sits on flat, forested land not far from the coastline. NIKI is operated under dedicated support from the Alaska Gasline Development Corporation. The Earthquake Center began maintaining this site in 2021.
