PS04 is located at Pump Station #4 of the Trans-Alaska Pipeline System. This site sits just off the Dalton Highway, which follows the Atigun River valley north through the northern Brooks Range. PS04 is part of a long-standing monitoring system for the pipeline. The Earthquake Center operates this system in conjunction with the Alyeska Pipeline Service Company.
