V35K is our easternmost site. It is generously hosted by a private landowner in a residential area of Ketchikan. This site is located in temperate rainforest near the shores of the Tongass Narrows. This site was acquired in 2019 under dedicated support from our partners at the U.S. Geological Survey to strengthen earthquake monitoring across southern Alaska. The site was originally installed as part of the USArray project.
