2008 M6.6 Andreanof Islands Earthquake (May)

 

The Alaska Earthquake Center recorded nearly 1,500 aftershocks through the end of May 2008. The largest aftershock was a M5.0 that occurred on May 8 at 14:12 UTC. Prior to the M6.6 mainshock, two events a M6.4 on April 15 and M6.4 on April 16, occurred about 110 km (69 miles) to the west of the May 2 mainshock event.
