2014 M5.2 Minto Earthquake

The Alaska Earthquake Center recorded about 2,200 aftershocks through end of 2014. A large aftershock, M4.2, occurred about 10 hours after the mainshock. Two large aftershocks occurred in October (two months into the aftershock sequence), a M5.0 on October 21 and M4.9 on October 23.

Good network coverage in the region allowed for aftershocks with magnitudes less than 1 to be reliably located.
