1964 M9.2 Great Alaska Earthquake

 

Thousands of aftershocks were recorded in the months following the mainshock. In the first day there were 11 aftershocks with magnitudes greater than 6.0. The plots below shows two years’ worth of aftershocks with magnitudes greater than 5.
