Alex is pursuing a master’s degree in Geophysics at UAF under Michael West. His research interests include earthquake early warning systems, seismic hazard analysis, and ways to increase hazard resilience in communities at risk. He is currently working on integrating data produced by AEC ShakeMaps into python scripts for easy creation of plots and figures.
