During the month of November 2023, the Alaska Earthquake Center reported 3126 earthquakes within the state. The largest earthquake was magnitude 5.6 that occurred on November 27 at 21:13:22 AKST (November 28, 06:13:22 UTC), in Fox islands, Aleutian Islands, 78 miles E of Nikolski. All earthquakes of magnitude 4.0 and greater occurred along the subduction zone.

We also reported 30 suspected quarry blasts located in the vicinity of Fort Knox and Usibelli mines in the interior of Alaska,  90 ice quakes which were located mostly in Prince William Sound, Yakutat Bay and Icy Bay, and about 40 events associated with volcanic activity mostly at Katmai volcanic group.

Ten earthquakes were reported as being felt in November.
