WEEK SEISMICITY REPORT FOR APRIL 10, 2023 TO APRIL 16, 2023
During the week of April 10, 2023, the Alaska Earthquake Center reported 1015 earthquakes within the state. The largest earthquake was magnitude 4.8 that occurred on April 9 at 16:16:56 AKDT (April 10, 00:16:56 UTC), 12 miles SE of Tyonek.
One other event of note was a M3.7, 28 miles SE of Cantwell (April 14, 2023 08:10:26 AKDT).
There were 7 icequakes detected in Prince William Sound and Icy Bay.
Two events were reported as felt.
