WEEK SEISMICITY REPORT FOR JUNE 13, 2022 TO JUNE 19, 2022

During the week of June 13, 2022, the Alaska Earthquake Center reported 773 earthquakes within the state. The largest earthquake was magnitude 4.2 that occurred on June 14 at 06:05:06 AKST (June 14, 14:05:06 UTC), 87 miles S of Westdahl Peak. All other events greater than 3.5 occurred along the subduction zone, except for a M4.0, 28 miles SW of Cantwell. Areas of ongoing seismicity include the Kaktovic, offshore Kodiak, and Simeonof-Chignik zones. There were 4 Icequakes recorded in the Prince William Sound. Four events were reported as felt.
