2021 M8.2 Chignik Earthquake

 

The M8.2 Chignik Earthquake has spurred an active aftershock sequence. As of 5 days following the mainshock we've recorded approximately more than 240 aftershocks. The largest aftershock was a M6.1 which occurred four minutes after the mainshock.
