WEEK SEISMICITY REPORT FOR NOVEMBER 28, 2022 TO DECEMBER 4, 2022

During the week of November 28, 2022, the Alaska Earthquake Center reported 1109 earthquakes within the state. The largest earthquake was magnitude 4.8 that occurred on December 1 at 02:58:59 AKST (December 1, 11:58:59 UTC), 54 miles S of Makushin Volcano. 

There were 43 icequakes in the south and southeast  Alaska including  Prince William Sound, Icy Bay and Yakutat Bay region.

The only event reported as felt was the M 4.8 occurred on December 1.
